Toy Robot
A retro-inspired toy robot created as my first serious hard-surface modeling project while learning 3ds Max. Rendered in KeyShot using its built-in material library.

About this work
This project holds a special place in my journey because it was the first hard-surface model I completed with the goal of achieving a polished, production-quality result. Created while I was learning 3ds Max, it challenged me to understand clean topology, mechanical forms, proportions, and material definition. The robot was designed as a collectible toy, with an emphasis on simple shapes, glossy plastics, and metallic finishes inspired by classic retro robots. The final presentation was rendered in KeyShot, using its native material library to explore lighting, reflections, and product visualization techniques. Looking back, this project represents the moment I moved beyond introductory exercises and began developing a deeper understanding of hard-surface workflows and asset creation. While my skills have evolved significantly since then, it remains an important milestone in my growth as a 3D artist.
